Hook with Heritage!!!!!!!! Americana at its best, these workshops are for those who love to work in old colors, textures, and wide cut wool. A long time student of American History Lucille incorporates those ideas, folk art, and things she loves into her original designs. With a keen sense of times long ago, her ultimate goal is to work with students to create a one-of a kind rug that has the look of being old but not worn, an instant antique!

Lucille’s work has been selected by Early American Life for its “Directory of Traditional American Crafts”. Her Pattern “April Flowers” was shown in the ‘September 2007 Country Home Magazine’. Lucille exhibits at the prestigious Folk Art shows. Her work has been purchased and sold by the American Folk Art Museum, NYC. In 2010 her work was chosen for an exhibit at the Southern Vermont Art Center, Manchester, VT

Mini Getaway – Weekend Workshops

Date: Saturday & Sunday June 11 & 12 Cost $130

This is an open pattern primitive class focusing on the ways to create rugs that look, but don’t feel like an antique.

This year marks the 150 anniversary of the onset of the American Civil War. In remembrance of our country’s heritage and to honor our colors, this workshop will focus on using a variety of red, white & blue textures but will not be limited to those colors. If you like Americana, this is a class for you.

Door People - Hook, Finish and Hang a Door Person

• Includes: Door Person Pattern of your choice and all wool necessary to hook and finish the pattern

• Instruction: Lucille will walk you through the entire process demonstrating each step
